System Administrator


Northern Light SinglePoint, LLC in Boston, MA seeks a well-rounded, full time systems administrator to join our IT staff.  This multifaceted role will include many various tasks from hardware support to DevOps duties.  The cutting edge environment, combined with continued company growth present endless opportunities to increase knowledge and apply problem solving skills.


5+ years as system administrator or comparable role.  Bachelor’s degree preferred or experience equivalent.  Broad knowledge and highly skilled in Linux (CentOS/Scientific Linux) environment.

Strong Linux knowledge at the command line.   Expertise in system administration practices and troubleshooting including but not limited to installation, configuration, deployment, security, maintenance, root cause analysis, scripting/automation and backup enterprise services.  Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other networking services/protocols such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and iSCSI.  Familiar with shell, bash, perl, or python scripting.  Familiarity with HP servers, storage and switches.  Experience working with tools and technologies including Apache (Tomcat) Servers, MySQL / PostgreSQL, PHP / Java EE / Python, Nagios, Cacti, among others.


Senior Software Engineer


Northern Light SinglePoint, LLC in Boston, MA seeks Senior Software Engineer to design, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.  Support 20 or more web applications.  Write libraries and frameworks to maximize speed and scale of web development.  Develop prototypes for future products.  Requires working knowledge of object-oriented design, experience in testing and debugging, knowledge of instruments such as Codeception and Jest, experience with Yii 2 framework, BEM and Elasticsearch.


Work experience with developing, releasing and maintaining PHP and node.js applications.  Requires Master’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a software engineer or user interface Programmer.  Foreign equivalent degrees accepted.
